This blog is currently for Geneseo faculty teaching, and Geneseo students taking, ENGL 170, The Practice of Criticism. In Spring 2014, it will become the blog for faculty teaching and students taking ENGL 203, Reader and Text.

I was under the impression that the blog was intended to be used for every ENGL class interested and all English majors as a social and intellectual forum. Is this true?
This blog is primarily for students in ENGL 170/203, but it’s for English majors in general to the extent that students can continue using it after they finish the course. At least, that’s the plan for now. We’ll see how it works out.
And yes — it’s a place for intellectual conversation: conversation about anything related to “the practice of criticism.”
